Prescription Lens Processing

Once a prescription lens order is placed, the Axon Optics lab surfaces, cuts, and mounts the lenses into the frames chosen at checkout.

Prescription lens orders take up to 14 business days to complete.

Holidays could extend processing time, as our business is closed on observed US holidays.

Non-Prescription Lens Processing

For purchases of Limited Edition frames that require a custom cut lenses (known as edging and mounting), processing time can take up to two weeks. Once a Limited Edition frame is purchased, our lab cuts and mounts the Avulux Migraine & Light Sensitivity lenses into your chosen frames prior to shipping.

Non-prescription made-to-order lenses — Avulux Adapt, Avulux Atlas, and Avulux with AR coating — take 3-5 business days to process, plus shipping time.

The Axon Optics product page will state whether there is a processing time involved.

Shipping Speed vs. Processing time

At checkout, you may be presented with shipping speed options such as:

Free Shipping (5-7 days)

UPS Ground (5-7 days)

UPS 2nd Day air (2 days)

DHL Worldwide (1-3 days)

Please note that these times represent the shipping speed. Lens processing time is in addition to any chosen shipping speed (e.g. 14 days processing time + 2 day shipping speed = 16 days).
